The Graduation Ceremony of the KDC Foundation's 300 Trained Almajiris
The graduation ceremony of the KDC foundation's 300 trained almajiris, sponsored by the US embassy under the community library Project, from Wurabagga, Kawo & Dakata centers was a success. A quiz was also conducted among the three centers where Kawo Center emerged the winner. In attendance were;
- The Executive Chairman of Kano State Quranic & Islamiyyah Schools Management Board (KSQISMB)
- District head of Dakata ward
- Education Secretary of Nassarawa Local Government
- District head of Tishama Community
- Representatives from Kano Hisbah & Kano council of Ulama
- Various community Imams and clerics
- Alarammas and other community stakeholders.
Gifts were presented to all the participants of the quiz and certificates were issued to the tutors that conducted the year long successful program.
